Hello! My name is Danielle Tyukody and I am very excited to be one of your vice chairs for NATO this year! I am a sophomore at UC Berkeley majoring in political science with a specialization in comparative politics, and minoring in education. I have been a part of BMUN for the past two years, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Outside of BMUN, I am an avid rock climber, and enjoy leading the competitive team for Cal Climbing here at Berkeley. This summer, I got my Nitrox Diving Certification in the Cayman Islands, and completed an online class. I wish you all the best, and cannot wait to see everyone in March. Good luck!
Diplomatic scuffle over Kashmir
Dear Delegates, For this week, I am posting a few of inter-related articles about the Kashmir issue. President Arif Alvi is the current president of Pakistan and it is interesting to see what the newly formed government in Pakistan's stance on the Kashmir issue is. This article is from a Pakistani newspaper so read it with a grain of salt. President Alvi demands Indian govt upholds rights of Kashmiri people https://www.dawn.com/news/1461965 The following two articles are about the conference organized in London on Kashmir Solidarity Day by Pakistan. It is interesting to see how the two countries frame the conference.
